Community Collaboration
Our schools exist to serve our students, families, and educators who live and work here. Decisions about classrooms, curriculum, and environment should be made by the people who know our kids by name: parents, administrators and teachers – those who are with our children day in and day out, not political action committees, or political agendas with no stake in our community.
As a GCISD Trustee, I will take my direction from students who deserve opportunity, parents who deserve transparency, and teachers who deserve trust and respect. Community input will not be a formality. It will be the foundation of every major decision. When families speak up, they will be heard, not dismissed.
Community input will inform my decisions as a Trustee, not come after those decisions have long been made. Local schools should reflect local values and those values start with listening.
