Confidence in Educator Excellence
Our district was once known as a place where talented teachers chose to build their careers, even when the pay was not the highest in the region. Teachers stayed because they felt supported, respected, and challenged to grow. They believed in our leadership. They had confidence in the board.
That has changed. Our educators no longer trust the board that vilifies them. That has money for lawsuits, but not students.
Today, too many of our most valuable human resources do not feel heard or valued, and that erosion of trust affects everything from classroom stability to student outcomes. Excellence cannot survive in an environment where educators are cast as the enemy.
Rebuilding that trust is not optional. It requires meaningful leadership and talent development pathways for veteran teachers, strong mentorship for new recruits, and real professional growth opportunities that encourage talented educators to stay and lead.
When teachers are supported, students succeed. When leadership is intentional, excellence is sustainable. My commitment is to restore confidence, retain top talent, and ensure this district is once again a place where great educators come to stay, grow, and lead.
